Patrick Cale is running for mayor. He is endorsed by all the "old guard," "the Good Old Boys," the ones who have else participated in alleged corrupt acts or who had knowledge of such acts and did nothing. Volume I, which you can download from this website, shows why Cale should NOT be elected mayor — he is endorsed by former Mayors John Coburn and Herschel McBride. He is also endorsed by Mayor Coleman. I would strongly recommend you read Chapter 5 (Coburn and Coleman) and page 12 (McBride) to see why their endorsements taint McCale's candidacy. If we want to change the trajectory of our city council to one that actively seeks transparency, honesty, and integrity in city government we can't keep on electing those who participate or knowingly ignore or go along with illegal and unconsgtitutional activity. Read Volume I and then ask candidate Cale if he will actively and openly work to overcome corruption. If he doesn't give you a resounding "YES" or waffles on the issue, he's one of the "good old boys" and you should vote "no" on his candidacy.
